Arguably, two of the most democratic and least corrupted electoral systems in the anglosphere are Australia and New Zealand.
Both parliamentary democracies, Australia has preferential voting that is compulsory for all citizens; New Zealand with mixed member voting (ie 1 vote for party & 1 vote for electorate MP) and with routinely 75% plus of the electorate voting.
