#Staatlich anerkannter #Erholungsort ist #Eltern, #Stadtteil der Stadt #Emmerich am #Rhein, bereits seit 1979, und auch das Prädikat „Luftkurort“ ist nicht ganz neu. Im vergangenen Jahrhundert durfte Elten sich schon einmal mit dieser #Auszeichnung schmücken. Jetzt leben die knapp 5000 Eltener erneut in einem #Luftkurort.

So, I think we all can agree that Elten (https://elten.link) is a piece of garbage. The developer, David Piper, really doesn'T care about development. Long known bugs aren't being fixed, the sponsor package is expensive, and no-sponsors have to suffer on features which are only available for sponsors but slow down the whole server.
So, here I give you: A list of alternatives of Elten.
Forum: You can use the audio games forum, including the offtopic room, if it really has to be, or just build your own forum with smf or any other forum software.
Messages: Rather use popular message clients which most of your messagers should have, such as Telegram, Whats App or the simple message app, or even host an own Element Matrix server.
Blogs: The blog area of Elten is nothing more than an integration of wortpress into elten, in other words, rather host your own wortpress instead.
Notes: You can create a folder containing txt files on your computer and take it as replacement. It is even more secure as Elten's notes are being stored online...
Polls: Use Google's or Microsoft's forms instead.
File Manager: Flash Files, but currently sadly not downloadable. I will probably provide a link in the next week.
You Tube: Accessible youtube downloader or renova music. Or just the teamtalk music bot by either softdev or gumerov-amir.
Conferences: Team Talk or Discord.
Now i gave you a replacement of all of Elten's core features. It is now up to you to do the actual step.
