Das zweite #EmotionalSupportChicken ist fertig. Ich könnte ja schon wieder... Aber die Strickjacke brauche ich dringender...

Kraus rechts gestricktes Huhn auf grauem Sofa. Kopf und Brust sind cremeweiß, Rücken greige und Schwanz /Bauch grau.
Kamm und Kehllappen leuchten rot. Es hat einen hellblauen Streifen am Hals und blaue Sicherheitsaugen.

Beide Huhner nebeneinander auf dem Sofa. Das neue hätte vielleicht ein bisschen mehr Füllwatte vertragen.

Knitted a flock of the #EmotionalSupportChicken

I played around with patches of stockinette stitches on different parts of the hens to get different structures to add some sensory interest. I also placed the under section differently on all of them, to give them character.
And the combs are improvised crochet instead of knit, so will the waddles be, when I get around to finishing up...
On the next one I think I will try out some other type of filling. Maybe some peas in the bottom to add a bit of mass?

I always enjoy when my wife makes a #3dprinting request. She knitted an "Elt-hen John" #EmotionalSupportChicken, but wanted some appropriately-flamboyant glasses for the chicken to wear.

Now I'm just waiting for the print to complete so I can hand these to her for bedazzling...

A knit stuffed chicken with gray and pink yarn.

I've knitted an #EmotionalSupportChicken just for a laugh. I've slightly weighted her which I think feels really nice.

I've seen various stories for how these came about and got their name, from toys for kids after bush fires to pillows for use by patients after chest surgery. She's definitely a huggable shape and size, so I can understand why it feels comforting.

There are many free versions of the pattern online and YouTube tutorials as well. You can buy the original pattern from Ravelry.

At the top of the photo are 4 emotional support chickens that I knitted. I use leftover yarn from other projects, yarn from Goodwill and any yarn on sale. And JOANN always had a yarn sale going. At the bottom of the picture is one of the chickens who found her forever home with a young lady from Barcelona.

This bag has pictures of two bowls of ramen with happy faces on the bowl. The words above the bowls say, "Buy me ramen and tell me I'm pretty." Can't argue with that.

I've started my official #emotionalsupportchicken kit for Tailfeather Swift.

I really like the yarn; it's very soft and squishy.

Just wish I knew what it was. Lol. There is no label that I can tell and I had no luck finding it on The Knitting Tree's website. Xd
