1998 Young Athletes in a Post-Race Interaction

The image captures a candid moment between two young athletes, likely after participating in an endurance event such as cycling or triathlon.
One athlete is kneeling on the ground while holding onto his head and appears to be in recovery mode from exhaustion, sweat visible across his forehead and yellow shirt.
He wears blue shorts with "Brandt" written along one leg.
The other individual, a woman sitting beside him, looks at him with a concerned yet compassionate expression, possibly offering support or comfort.

What a perfect #NordicSkiing day today! Despite +12 deg outside for the last 7+ days, this track 60min from our home city is still perfectly prepared. They actually gathered tons of snow 2 weeks ago (when it was -15 deg) in safe, cold spots and now they just reuse it every morning. Wonderful <3

Track is around 1.2km, very interval one: up-flat-up-down-flat-up-down. Very fast, rather technical. In summer it's a roller ski track.

#introduction time!

My name is Maciek and I come from south of #Poland (#Krakow).

I have created this Mastodon account as a place, where I will micro-blog about preparations to the #NorxemanXtremeTriathlon (nxtri.com). It is a complex event, so I will try to slowly explain all subjects related to it.

My original Mastodon account is @docent -

A belated #introduction post:

Hello Mastodon World!

I'm Alan Couzens, an #ExercisePhysiologist & #EnduranceSports coach.

I've spent the last 30 years working as an exercise physiologist and coach of endurance athletes - both amateur and professional in #Swimming #Cycling and #Triathlon

I've been an avid #data collector over those years, amassing quite the collection of testing and training data, leading to my current passion of applying #MachineLearning to improve decision making in sport
