Ein alter Zug

Den Triebwagen, den wir letzthin an einem Sonntagmorgen im Depot beim Bahnhof Winterthur stehen sahen, hatten wir bereits tags zuvor bei uns im Tösstal gesehen. Damals war er unterwegs Richtung Winterthur gewesen. An diesem Sonntag jedoch war dieser Triebwagen für ein Charterfahrt gebucht. Laut Marc Aeschlimann, einem eingefleischten Eisenbahn-Enthusiasten und begnadeten Trainspotter, handelte es sich dabei um den Triebwagen 101, zusammengehängt mit dem Dynamometerwagen 99701. Eine Gruppe Reise- oder Feierwilliger – sie stand schon sehnsüchtig wartend auf dem Perron 3 – würde einige Zeit darauf verbringen.

Ich habe grossen Respekt vor den Leuten, die in wochen- und monatelanger Arbeit solche antiken Züge restaurieren!

Some places have sessions organized by employees organically. Management doesn't really care about these ones. They're about things that aren't directly useful in the job; one's a #language #enthusiast and wants to talk about #Elixir, which the company doesn't (yet) use internally, and others are interested in it for their own #curiosity.

The critical part is, these are employee-to-employee interests, not company training.
