I wrote about #ArtStation account I didn't delete last week... Today I was reminded they are owned by #EpicGames - and regardless of possible direct #genAI issues in the future I feel I have enough reasons to boycott them.

So I just deleted this account too.

And gaming on #Linux and obstacles in it are rather personal thing to me. This year I am finally to close to finish TES: Oblivion. Something I started in 2011-2012, but my playing was interrupted by my full migration to Linux in 2013. And now I am finally able to made it :blobCat_blush:

Not to worship Steam but I could appreciate good things they do for their clients. It so rare when a company DON'T do crappy things.

I'm almost sure Epic uses AI for its text chat reporting update, but it has been my position for a while that the hate speech on Steam could be drastically reduced by using AI to prepare content for a human review. Otherwise it's simply impossible to review so much content unless Valve were to hire many many more people, which we know it won't do.
