After talking about doing it for awhile, we finally visited one of the other Episcopal churches in our city. It's the church all of the people in my #EfM cohort attend. We've only seen the part of the church that faces the street, But the interior is incredible!! The church is nearly 100.
The service was much the same as I'm used to, but the Rector+the deacons were all women, which was awesome.
They did communion a bit differently d there was something about it that I really loved.

Right before #EfM last week, I finished watching Pump Up The Volume, for the first time as an adult. Inspired by the anarchy in the movie, I set my Zoom background to Spider-Punk, Hobie Brown.
This week, unless I change my mind, I am planning on setting my background to an image containing Cinnamoroll, my favorite Sanrio character.

My mom has never been super into music... But I know of three things she loved to listen to as a teenager; The Osmonds, the Grease soundtrack, and The Carpenters. Somehow, and somewhat embarrassingly, I've inherited an interest in all 3 to varying degrees... But as a 90s teen, imagine my surprise when today, at 43 years old, I've just run across the "If I Were A Carpenter" tribute album from 1994,including Sonic Youth, the Cranberries, Dishwalla, 4 Non Blondes and more!! #Episcopunk

I read a selection from Sarah Bessey from the book, #RhythmOfPrayer, and I have already tagged 3 or 4 other entries in the book for future devotions. Can someone please help me understand #EfM 's Theological Reflections? I've only been present to see them done in group twice... But so far I am really lost about the whole process and it's purpose. I need to go back and read my RRG.
Is it always done as one person kinda leading the rest of the members through a discussion? Like crowdsourcing responses for each stage of the TR?
I am so lost.
