Ellis Island is an island in New York Harbor, within the U.S. states of New Jersey and New York. Owned by the U.S. government, Ellis Island was once the busiest immigrant inspection and processing station in the United States. From 1892 to 1954, nearly 12 million immigrants arriving at the Port of New York and New Jersey were processed there; as many as two-fifths of Americans may be descended from these immigrants. It has been part of the Statue of Liberty National Monument since 1965 and is accessible to the public only by ferry. The north side of the island is a national museum of immigration, while the south side of the island, including the Ellis Island Immigrant Hospital, is open to the public through guided tours.

The image is a black-and-white photograph depicting four individuals walking in a line on a paved path. The setting appears to be outside a building with large windows and a central entrance. The individuals are dressed in formal attire, indicative of the early 20th century.

- On the far left, there is a woman wearing a dark coat with a fur collar, a wide-brimmed hat, and dark shoes. She is walking with a slight smile and holding the arm of the person next to her.
- Next to her is another woman in a dark dress with a lighter-colored collar and cuffs, and she is also wearing a fur stole draped over her shoulders. She is holding the arm of the woman next to her.
- The third individual is a woman in a white dress with a wide-brimmed hat and a small handbag in her right hand. She is walking with a composed demeanor.
- On the far right is a man in a dark suit with a striped tie and a white shirt. He is walking with a slight smile and holding a piece of paper in his left hand.

The image has a vintage feel, with a slightly faded appearance and a white border around the edges, suggesting it might be a historical photograph. The text "SCHUMANN HENK" is visible in the upper right corner of the image.

How is it possible for Google to have started with essentially zero customer service resources, but have gone downhill every year since then?

Agreed, expecting average users to un-brick a phone with dev tools is a special kind of "eff you". It really is "We don't care. We're [Google], we don't have to." like it was the 1970s again.

I have now twice, within 20 minutes, requested a confirmation code text from AT&T to complete logging into their e-mail system. This is a massive telecommunications company, it is the original Bell System, its ENTIRE FUNCTION is to facilitate telephone communications. They can't even generate and send a text message automatically in a timely manner. It's no wonder the feds busted their monopoly. #WeDontCare #WeDontHaveTo #ThePhoneCompany #Ernestine #ATT
