Just unboxing my #BalconySolar equipment from #Ecoflow #Powerstream. It's like the 'Apple' of balcony solar.

For all those who are renting and thought they cannot have a solar system, think again! These superslim cables avoid you having to drill holes in your landlord's walls - they just go through the window.

My panels will go onto the roof and I am doing this to supplement my 5.5 kW island-system and reduce the Boiler costs.

I agree with everything in this article.
Personal notes:
1. Tax rebates made no impact on our decision to get solar+battery backup.
2. We paid #Eskom/municipality rates during loadshedding years when they could not deliver #electricity to us reliably on-demand.
3. The punitive approach to tariff restructuring will 'soon' (in a few years of further increase) make it cost effective to go completely off-grid.
4. Gov owes us a thank you.
