This mix was popular on the radio back in the day. Well, I don't think that anyone remembers Co.Ro. anymore anyways, but I don't like the Patti Smith original either. I find that one boring.

Un porrón de años después de Honey, mucho más después de imprescindibles como Monument o una Call your Girlfriend que debo haber desgastado ya, Robyn anticipa su vuelta a las novedades (que no a los escenarios) musicales con esta pista.
Pese a contar con su productor de confianza, Dopamine sí es nueva. Quizá de ahí el desconcierto de parte del público. La canción transmite un ímpetu maduro, contenido, sin subidones fáciles ni efectismos baratos.
La base casi pulsátil mueve la canción entera, siempre feliz, dando la vuelta a la buena onda y vuelta a comenzar. Si la dejan. Si dejan de buscar en ella giros de antaño. Si se encierran la nostalgia por un rato en el orto.
Llama la atención en los créditos el nombre de Taio Cruz, ese que repartió dinamita y rompió corazones con Ludacris con tracks machacones en otra vida. Aparece como coautor. ¿Qué habrá aportado? Cabe recordar que colaboró con Kylie en su momento, no fue nada destacable pero Robyn no es su primera diva pop.
Cierto que Dopamine no inventa nada. Tampoco diría que hubiera tenido hueco en discos antiguos. Tiene la magia del momento, si no el germen sí el desarrollo. Lo que hace lo realiza muy bien. Esta dopamina se te sube, si la dejas.
