[wichtiger Zusatz] Ich gebe zu, der Ausbau von Wind- & Solarenergie z.B. in Rumänien könnte nicht in so kurzer Zeit so viel Energie liefern (Gas Verbrauch sparen wäre da sehr nötig)
als die Erschließung von offshore Gasfeldern, die aber zwar die schnellere, aber die schlechtere 'Lösung' wäre, v.a. im geplanten Umfang ! (vielleicht könnten Umweltverbände wie #Greenpeace u.v.a. sowie #EuropeanGreens und andere . . .
hier zumindest einen Kompromiss erreichen)

Eine viele Jahre lang allzu mangelhafte #EnergyTransition / #Energiewende in der #EU und anderen Teilen von #Europa (positive Ausnahme z.B. Dänemark und in #Habeck's Amtszeit #Deutschland)
machten folgenschwer abhängig von #Energie-importen z.B. ehem. Billig- #Gas aus #Russland, nun umso teurer aus Katar, #USA etc ( #Flüssiggas etc)

I'm a bit late to the biffo between the European and US Greens but I completely agree with the European stance that Jill Stein should leave the race.

Yes, the US electoral system is broken but the answer is not allowing Trump to end global cooperation on climate action by ignoring the realities of how the vote works.

Too much is at stake for a repeat of Nader in 2000.

"The stakes of these elections could not be higher.

"Donald Trump has promised that if he becomes President again, he will extend #abortion bans, deny members of the #LGBTQIA+ community their rights, and deport #migrants en masse. Like other #UltraConservative politicians across the globe with whom he has close relationships such as Vladimir #Putin, Viktor #Orbán, and Jair #Bolsonaro he would undermine democracy.

"The European Green family, made up of Green parties from across Europe, advocates for a politics that prioritises the #planet, people and #peace above #CorporateGreed, #SystemicInjustice, and violence.

Besonders dankbar bin ich für das tolle Ergebnis in meinem Kommunalwahlkreis Brill-Arrenberg. Mit 24,1 Prozent der Stimmen mit Abstand die stärkste Kraft und das zweitbeste Ergebnis für die Grünen in ganz Wuppertal.
