Some years ago I bought this wooden box because I liked it. When I finally found out how old it really is, I was shocked. The nice lady from the Faber Castell archives even told me, what a rare treasure I found and that I must be really careful with it.

Op één of andere manier voelt het momenteel heerlijk om met zachte kleuren te tekenen, er verschijnt ook veel roze in mijn werk. Deze is ook wel af denk ik, roze en aaibaar. #fabercastellpolychromos #paddenstoelen #mushrooms

Elke begin is moeilijk, in een flow komen en mezelf laten leiden door iets dat groter is dan mijn kleine zelf.
alleen dan kan de magische ervaring die ik in het bos voel, via de potloden worden uitgedrukt.

Onlangs kon ik de verleiding niet weerstaan en kocht een van mijn grote kinderdromen. Een enorme doos met kleurpotloden. En eindelijk was er tijd om ze uit te proberen. Niet perfect, wel heerlijk om te doen!

Ik heb zo'n beetje alle stadia van het witpootglinsterkopje getekend, behalve het plasmodium. Omdat dat wit is wordt dat vanzelf zichtbaar als ik de ondergrond teken. De ondergrond krijgt de structuur van een blad met nerven, sterk uitvergroot. Deze zwammetjes zijn maar een paar millimeter hoog. Deze tekening is wel een uitdaging.

En al weer bezig met het volgende project, de stadia van mijn favoriete slijmzwammensoort Diachea Leucopodia / Witpootglinsterkopje.
Mooi vooral vanwege het kleurijke metallic schilletje. Dat dit kan met kleurpotloden is toch wel verrassend, ook voor mij! ✏️
