It seems like #BattleBitRemastered might continue to be supported on #SteamDeck (and #Linux) thanks to an expected update to the #FaceIT anti-cheat (or at least a part/variant of it) that would allow this! This makes it feel a lil more safer for me to buy the game, knowing that it would continue to work even when it eventually replaces #EAC.

I once read that we have to feel - properly - everything life sends us. So long as we distract ourselves from feeling it or fail to listen to what it is telling us, we're not fully feeling it. So it stays until it breaks through to deliver its message.
Metaphor, yes. But one I find very accurate and useful. We can't learn with our backs turned to the facts, including the brute presence of our 'negative' emotions. We have to face and feel them.
