A narrow dirt trail runs through a dense forest of tall spruce trees, with soft golden sunlight streaming straight down the center of the path. The light cuts through light fog, creating a bright, glowing line that fades into the distance. Dew and early autumn foliage line the edges of the trail, and the trees on both sides appear dark against the illuminated mist.

Gorgeous red auroras tonight over the Goldstream Valley in Fairbanks, Alaska. A rare show, strong enough for the red emission to be clearly visible to the eye.
