This morning the robins were so loud and in sync that Unifi protect thought it heard a carbon monoxide alarm, and pushed emergency alert.

We have CO detectors, so I was concerned. You can imagine my relief and delight to review the recording and find happy birds instead of an actual emergency.

HIP 13044 is a member of the Helmi Stream, the remains of a dwarf galaxy absorbed by the Milky Way that's named after astronomer Amina Helmi, who discovered it in 1999. This is an image of it via ESO's Digitized Sky Survey 2 and Davide De Martin--I've put a circle around it, as it's pretty nondescipt even in this close-up.

In 2010 it was claimed that the star had a 1.25 Jupiter-mass planet orbiting it with a period of 16.2 days. (1/2)

Uploading it to Virus Total, I get a warning from one of the scanners.

Bkav Pro? Not familiar with that. But for me, this is where the issue begins. It get marked as:

W64.AIDetectMalware

That's an identifier for a trojan. Being a small EXE and given that I can account for every byte in the file, I know it is not a virus.

However, the corporate entity (understandably) takes no chances and immediately removes it.
