I've been watching #LongLostFamilyUK with my mom. We started on season 1 & are on season 2. It's very heartwarming. When you hear of people carrying baggage you know nothing about, this series reveals examples of what that can be, for some people.
Watching this, you really have to acknowledge how #women's independence & agency is still relatively new when you learn about how many women were shamed & forced into giving up their children from unplanned pregnancies. Next to no accountability held to the men who impregnated them.
When you watch these, you can't be surprised that women today don't want to repeat history.
