I can already see Laurie, foster mom of not always the most patience, calling him by his full name when she finds him doing things he does in the tv show he’s from, and he’ll find his charm doesn’t work. The foster dad, Frank, is more easygoing and fun, though Laurie has her good points too. Frank wouldn’t be amused either, but he might be less incensed.

In the #fanfic I have many of his characters thrown together. Possibly 12 of them. It’s an interesting mix. Gabe quickly became the main character.

I had 9, but want to add two from a film and show I’ve rewatched recently, and I remembered a third from another show. They’d all be interesting, it’s just a lot to have so many and there were already too many. Still, it’s mostly for my amusement and they do amuse me.

The two smoke weed, though, and that won’t work in a foster home. Drama 😏

As with wizards and timing, a work is precisely as done as I mean it to be at that point in time 🧙‍♀️ I have works that are fragments I don't plan on showing anyone else, and I have a #fanfic that took me literally 16 years to upload in full with an 11-year-old hiatus before the final two chapters. There is no quit/persist dichotomy because everything is fluid and things can come together or fall off in unexpected ways. To go off something #KahlilGibran once wrote, water can form a river to the sea or form a secluded little pool that reflects the stars. Who is to say the ocean is greater than the mountain spring?
