Out of curiosity, how many hashtags do you all follow without your home timeline becoming too cluttered?
I subscribe specific hashtags to my instance as relays using the excellent #FediBuzz service so this all appears in my federated feed and Home is just for people I follow. Trying to figure out if there's any other ways to view posts optimally.
Appreciate this is a little different for a self hosted instance.

New release of #Fediwall suports fedi.buzz as a source and is nicer to unresponsive or overloaded source servers. The update also contains security patches in dependencies, but those issues did not impact fediwall, so no urgency for an update.

If you run a single user #GoToSocial instance, maybe you would like to get more toots about a specific subject in your timeline.
#FediBuzz relay could help you. You can subscribe to a specific hashtag fake-account and then receive toots it re-toots.

Today I found the #FediBuzz relay, a service that lets you create custom Mastodon relays to pull more content into your small instance from the wider fediverse. Custom relays can be based on hashtag or originating instance. I've been tinkering with my #GoToSocial instance all morning and figuring out what hashtags I want to follow on the #FediBuzz relay to populate my federated timeline a little more. I suppose I should actually do some work, too. It's just not as fun 😞
Ich habe letzte Woche mit #FediBuzz Relays* rumgespielt und testweise den Tatort-Hashtag mit Fnordon "abonniert". Das hat gestern schon ganz gut funktioniert, und ich hatte deutlich mehr Posts in der Timeline.

I enabled the #FediBuzz relay for a couple of HashTags to see if I was missing any messages and it appears to be pulling in a few more sources.
But as well as getting added to my HashTag and Federated timeline columns they are also showing up in my Home column, which I wouldn't have expected.
Is this the correct behaviour?
