So I picked myself up the recent #PlagueMarines box and got them built up for a game tomorrow — was out of time to paint them but I at least got them properly based and gave them a decent run over with the airbrush..

A miniature of a wooden skyship in a kind of steampunk aesthetic. Blades and metal reinforcements attached to the side, a big balloon at the top. Cannons are all along the railing and a giant one poking through the mouth of a skull at the front of a ship, posing as a figurine.
Four characters stand aboard. One Human-Albatros Hybrid has a sword raised, a small unpainted druid figure, a gold-iron painted Automaton with a giant shield and a psychic blade rogue on top of the balloon.

Same ship without the figures from the other side.

Same ship viewed from the back. The trailing blade on the rudder and the balloon are highlighted, as well as the small anchor or hook on a winch mounted at the back, trailing behind.

Fiiiiinally set some time aside to do some painting. Felt like I should finally get my AoD kill team past the 'vaguely primed' phase (even though space marines are my least favourite thing to paint) – pretty happy to get the base coats on there, tomorrow I will get an oil wash on the go and hopefully get them looking right :)
