Hmm. #Fedora42Workstation does not include #gnome_libsecret. How shocking.

And #Flatpak does not check for this dependency. Less shocking.

This may all be sorted with a reboot… but I am in the midst of a backup restoration which looks to be more than half done… after 2 hours.

Cancel | Use no encryption

Using my #framework16 as a second desktop by plugging in a monitor, mouse and keyboard. Also to test how support is with #fedora42workstation with just closing the lid. With previous versions of #fedora the machine would suspend no matter what. That's over, thankfully:-)

#Fedora42Workstation / #Gnome Edition is indeed corrupting the #Ventoy boot partition. :oh_no:

But guess which spin doesn't do so: #Fedora42 #KDE, which isn't using the new #Anaconda installer. :awesome: :kde:

It’s the third day of using the brand-new #Fedora42, and it’s amazing. Unlike the updates from 39 to 40 or 40 to 41, this time I’ve really felt a boost in productivity.
The new default fonts are also great—huge thanks to the design team for modifying the Inter font to make it clearer and more readable for non-Latin languages.
