"Suspicious minds" - Fine Young Cannibals

Following the massive hit "Johnny come home" and the stonking miss "Blue", those guys from The Beat and their charismatic-quirky singer are back with an Elvis cover.

Enough gold lamé suits that they might be turning up for the Game Show Hosts' Convention. It's a good recording of a good song, but it ain't no Talk Talk.

With suspicious minds
And we can't build our dreams
On suspicious minds”

Recently while listening to my music collection, I happened across the 1989 second (and sadly final) studio album from the Fine Young Cannibals titled "The Raw and the Cooked".

This album has so many good tracks, so well arranged, that hearing one track makes me want to listen to the album all the way through.

Their first album included a good cover of Elvis's "Suspicious Minds", which I enjoy even more in its remixed form.
