Finally got a new #job! I will do test automation again. I don't know why HR people keep putting me there. It's probably because I can also do UX and a bit of cyber security evaluation. I want to become more independent tho. I'll try to create a startup, YouTube channel and else. I got some ideas. This job will give me the opportunity to get my finances stable again and gain some more experience. I'll be working on web sites with a #react frontend and #firebase as the back end. It's not how I would do things myself for ownership of product and ethical reasons but I find the tech interesting. I'll work in parallel on my #elixir and probably #flutter based app.

I don't know what to think about #Google's #firebase. Yes, it makes the work easy by taking care of things you would normally have in a back end but at the same time it's all code that have been made over and over so it's all things that are easy to implement anyway. The hardest part still have to be implemented in services. I guess it's the no code vs everything as code arguments again. I'm more of an everything as code cause UI can change and it's easier to edit a file and LLMs can help you more with text. I still think I would write at least most of my back end.

How do people chose how they want to create a website. I compared all the frontend framework, I figured #nextjs or #flotter seems to be the best depending on the situation. Then I looked at the backend languages and figured #go or #elixir seems to be my favorites, then I looked at databases and figured I can't decide if I prefer #sql ones or #nosql. After all that, I discover that there is platforms like #Google's #firebase where you can make most or all of your app with the frontend talking directly to the database with rules. I start to go insane! Is there an end to that rabbits hole? Is there other things I don't know?
