A #FinalEdition pack with pieces of the destroyed mould. Damn. Itโs actually a good plan when done by Duralex themselves.

This 1855 #firstedition of #WaltWhitman's Leaves of Grass #poetry collection is housed in our historical building at SUB Gรถttingen: a beautiful volume in a rich forest green, embossed with metal letters in an organic, grassy design. It contains 12 poems (later editions have 400+)

After finding a new โconcise editionโ aka abridged version of The Art of Walt Disney at a rummage sale in August, I went looking for a full copy and ended up with a first printing of the first edition from 1973, complete with a raised Mickey on the cover and surviving plastic jacket. Oh boy!

So, not only did I apparently order a #Hardcover edition of #LunarPark, by #BretEastonEllis, but I wound up receiving a #FirstEdition!
Iโm very excited to read this, as this will make my second #BretEastonEllis novel, behind #AmericanPsycho. This one sounds wild!
I also strangely received someoneโs paystub stuffed into the back of the book from todayโs date, but in 2006. Mustโve been the original owner.
