It has long hairs all over the rest of its thorax, and its long reddish legs are covered in coarse spiny hairs as well. Just now I was in the garden, waiting for the laundry to finish, minding my own business and not looking for any bugs at all, when a plant bug (Miridae) (I think, anyway) dropped out of the sky and landed on the table next to me. Two small flies were feeding on it.
