A commemorative booklet, album or carnet with 7 panoramic double postcards, comprising 14 in total, two of which are used as the major part of the cover and the other five double cards are loose inside, all showing parts of the Forbidden City, along with a mint commemorative brass coin, with the main entrance to the Forbidden City on the obverse and double dragons to the reverse, within a sealed and unopened plastic case set on a display card. The whole set was produced to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Palace Museum of the Forbidden City at Peking or Beijing in China.

Very good condition, with very slight corner bumps to the cover. The cards inside and the coin display card are in excellent condition. The coin itself is in mint condition and any light scratches seen of the close-up scans of the coin are on the plastic cover and not on the coin itself.

Potala Palace in Lhasa Valley shines against a dark blue sky.

#People, bleurgh. They're everywhere! But one thing that #MonochromeMonday made me realize is that #bnw photos help reduce the "noise" of people; they simply blend into the image because there's no hot pink top or sparkly shoes that draw the eye. Maybe this is obvious to you professionals, but for me it has become a game changer and I'm rediscovering a lot of my photos in #BlackAndWhite that I didn't like very much before because of those pesky #humans in them. So thank you PixelFed for opening my eyes and making me see the world through grey-coloured glasses! 🩶
