Our first play of co-operative #boardgame "Forbidden Island" didn't go well, as we lost in the second turn (the final escape tile "Fool's Landing" flooded in the setup phase & then sank into the abyss after an early "Waters Rise!") But without that bad luck repeating itself, we won the second game :-) A game which is simple to learn, but interesting to play so far - different adventurer powers add variety, & looks like difficulty tweakable if needed. #BoardGames #CoopGames #ForbiddenIsland

I seem to recall that #SevenWonders has a solitaire "mode" that can be played. Most cooperative games like #ForbiddenIsland and #Pandemic can also be played solo.

I've heard good things about Deep Space D6 but have yet to encounter it personally to get a feel for it.

BGG has a good post on a solo variant for #RaceForTheGalaxy.
