That's just simply not true, particularly in the US. If that were true the local food pantry and all these free-food cupboards around town... they would be empty and not having food slowly go bad in them.

My guess is she's summing individual "net worth"s. That's misleading at best. I think I have a positive n.w. now, but that line was crossed relatively recently and yet I have never been poor.
Chase, that was not a good use of "sex crimes". That term has historically been applied to violent crimes that I *know* you do want to remain criminal. Just a slip of the tonuge.
Perhaps the bigger issue, there really aren't very many drug dealers or sex workers in *federal* prison, which is where your pardon goes. What you promised to do you could do to a degree, but someone listening might misunderstand which elections they need to focus on for those issues.

I'm hearing lots of use of the yucky "we", even from people who I *know* know better. "We" are doing all kinds of stupid and bad things! So "we" can just stop doing that, right??

A) We buy all our fossil fuels and petroleum products from elsewhere, driving & funding further Middle East conflict
or
B) People starve.
Seriously, without modern agriculture we go back to large fractions of the human population starving to death. And modern agriculture means you effectively eat petroleum that was grown with fossil-fueled tractors and shipped with fossil fueled trucks.

I was recently reading a book on local history... the vast majority of this state (GA) would belong to the Creek according to that. The Cherokee were not a party to the treaty and might not appreciate that the area north of Atlanta (once theirs) would be given to the Creek?
At some point there's practicality involved with undoing multi-century-old injustice.

The US is not a particularly Capitalist country. There's nothing even remotely capitalist in any meaningful sense about the state including its criminal system.
Don't just say "Capitalist" when you mean "I don't like". So annoying.
Sorry, Chase, but crime is still higher than it was in 2019, so it's a little bit off to say we're not in a crime wave. We're on the declining side of the wave, but there is/was a wave. The other stuff you were saying was either right or fine.
Prior to 2020 there was a surprisingly consistent long-term trend of declining violent crime for decades. Hopefully we can get back to that soon.
Excuse me, but how does "universal healthcare" make a glut of demand for immigration... uh... better??

I hate that the most crazy & unserious of the first 4 candidates to intro themselves is also the best-spoken. I like Lars - I've enjoyed hanging out with him. But he's bad at this.
