Forum for People's Health announces the launch of a round the clock, free medical helpline from today. Anyone from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana can call 040-48214595 for medical advice and talk to a doctor. The helpline has doctors from multiple specialities.
In times of COVID19 Pandemic, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. Of India has issued advisory on March 22 for Hospitals and Medical Educational Institutions to advice all patients of OPD(Out Patient Division) to avoid or postpone routine visits.[1] Following strict guidelines to curtail the community-level spread of Coronavirus, OPD patients have trouble seeking medical help.
In such crisis situation, Doctors, Professionals, Non-profit organisations and Social Activists have come together to form ‘Forum of People’s Health’ to provide medical help for OPD patients through a 24x7 available free helpilne number 040 4821 4595.
People from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are advised to make use of this service.
