Es wurden einige Links ergänzt, um es den Usern einfacher zu machen, das passende Paket für #Linux, #MacOS, #RasberryPi oder auch #Windows herunter zu laden.
Before I got sidetracked into the type system I was working to get the command line compiler fully up and running.
The sticking point was command line arguments. I tried using #FreePascal's built in parser but it didn't have the flexibility I needed. I've now written something which does and I can now set the platform and deployment options.

Updated for Haiku 64bit: Lazarus 4.0.
Lazarus is a Rapid Application Development Tool for Free Pascal.
Install or update it with Haiku's application HaikuDepot or the Terminal command pkgman.
For this I created/updated a local script (partly based on how Fedora uses it):

The Lazarus IDE for Free Pascal has been launched in version 4.0. This major new release introduces multiple novel features, including new event types, extended support for Cocoa, optional docking, more debugger options and extended components.

BGRABitmap is a graphics library for FreePascal and Lazarus that offers extensive capabilities for image manipulation, including transparency management, direct pixel access, and various effects for dynamic image generation.
To break out of routine and for the sake of old times, I'm taking #FreePascal for a spin. Been meaning to anyway. Didn't expect to like it, but my toy project is coming along and keeping my interest. A pleasant surprise!
@alter_kaker Do I dare suggest #FreePascal? I've been using it for about a year for CLI tools and I find it fun to write in. For GUI stuff, you can use Lazarus (looks a lot like early Delphi).
It's highly portable, too. My CLI apps run on Linux, *BSD, macOS, Windows, Haiku, and 32-bit DOS. The GUI stuff should run on most of those, too (maybe not DOS).

Downloaded #TurboPascal . Also for practical purposes and modernization, installed #FreePascal too, ofc.
