Rail bridge over the Wairau River. I went out for a bike ride on Sunday because my daughter wanted to ride a mountain bike at the beach, but our current car doesn't have a tow bar to fit a bike carrier, so I rode the bike to the beach and back, while she and my wife went in the car.
At 22Km each way it was a decent ride, but luckily it's an e-bike.
I got to ride the clip on cycle bridge over the Wairau River that's part of the Whale Trail cycle trail for the first time.
The view from the cycle bridge beats the one from the road bridge with its concrete sides, and you can stop to take photos.

I don't usually do #streetphotography as I'm a bit self-conscious about wandering around with a camera in the middle of town, but did some recently while waiting for family, as walls don't react to being photographed. This is one of a series of three, with the other two on my Patreon with accompanying poetry. I haven't come up with any poetic words for this one yet, but still like it anyway.
I ended up crouching down and considered lying on the ground to capture this, although anyone in the street would have thought I was either weird or having a medical event, or both, if I'd done that.

Shot on full-frame body with a 35mm prime lens, so actual 35mm, not 35mm equivalent.
