I've been compiling and installing the current #FUZIX sources for the #rc2014 platform yesterday and am quite impressed by the work @etchedpixels did so far.

@DJDarren it pretty strict, but any non windows os, from CPM to any modern Linux including android and #Fuzix accepted.

today i cloned the main git repository of #fuzix 0.5 and compiled the sources succesful by myself. after flashing the pico - i couldn't any longer login from my #openbsd box over usb (uhub1: device failed).. so i had to switch to #debian for that:
minicom -D /dev/ttyACM0

#fuzix is now running on real hardware (pico/rp2040) for me.. and it's connected to #openbsd over usb: minicom -D /dev/ttyU0

INS807x now works in the C compiler. it's a very strange processor, a mix of some really clean ideas and seriously broken design choices.

Overnight I've successfully compiled the sources for the #FUZIX operating system on my #Linux box and this morning, my #SC130 successfully booted into FUZIX ... yay! 🥳

@asdil12 Yes. In December last year I made #FUZIX work on Zed Pro with RomWBW 3.4. The necessary change is merged upstream. Also SC111 did work back then. All locally compiled. The released images used to not work for me.

#FUZIX for LUNA XP running on #OpenBSD/luna88k on nono 1.4.0 on #OpenBSD/amd64. Now nono supports XP(HD647180)'s ASCI, so FUZIX for LUNA XP can open 2 ttys! (tty1 on LUNA console, tty2 on ASCI0)

I now have the C compiler passing most tests on the INS807x processors - possibly the most annoying instruction set yet. I am still trying to find the willpower to write the 32bit division and debug it which should then get the point all the tests run.

To be fair I've yet to tackle the 6502 support library seriously so there's probably still a candidate for even more annoying than 807x.

En cherchant quoi faire de mon mc68008 j'ai commencé à dessiner une platine pour aller autour.
C'est encore très préliminaire.
J'avais commencé avec des composants classiques et au final je me retrouve avec une majorité de composants CMS. Il y a un CPLD pour remplacer toute la petite logique (le gros avantage étant qu'en cas d'erreur il suffit de corriger le fichier Verilog, beaucoup plus rapide que de refaire un PCB).
Pour l'instant ce n'est qu'un dessin #Kicad mais si je me lance là dedans ça ferait une bonne carte pour #cpm68k ou #fuzix

#OpenBSD/luna88k is running on recently updated nono 1.1.0 emulator running on #OpenBSD/amd64. Additionally, #FUZIX for LUNA XP is also running on nono. Great!
