Mr Driller 2 (Switch): COMPLETED!

It’s Mr Driller only on the Game Boy Advance, only on the Switch. It’s missing the many game types and variations from later games in the series like Drill Land, but it’s the same gameplay and just as much fun as it ever was.

But hoo is it hard. The constant worry that you should just dash for the end rather than try to grab some air, or vice versa, when you’re low on oxygen. The all-to-easy way to miscalculate the outcome of a dig, which ends up getting you squished. The sections which seem easy because there are massive chunks of the same colour you can obliterate at once, but actually, you end up making air inaccessible or something. I wouldn’t say success is random – although the levels are arranged seemingly randomly – but it certainly feels like it sometimes.

After a million attempts at the final area, I was done. Phew!

As far as Fire Emblem 7 is concerned I got all of Eliwood’s supports in April 13th then much later in October 13th where I did the super secret paralouge battle in Hector Mode and also did it while unlocking the max amount of characters possible… I highly doubt I’m doing the former because the conditions for it are insane to the point where it’s not worth it… like IDK isn’t just getting Nils a high enough level and reaching the initial paralouge enough?

Pokémon Emerald for the Game Boy Advance, in a see-through green cartridge and a somewhat frayed label.

The battery had to be replaced in the shop I got it in so I wasn't too surprised to see the price tag on it. I plugged it into my Game Boy Advance SP and it works! The last person to play it didn't do much Pokédex completion - maybe six Pokémon and six badges, 30 hours in.

J'ai essayé visualboy advance m mais je n'arrive pas à le faire fonctionner correctement j'ai l'impression, il freeze régulièrement sur Mint et j'arrive pas à changer les contrôles 🤔

If I didn't already have the Everdrive X5 mini, I would consider this, but for now the only thing I'm missing out is gyro and tilt games, but I'm not really into those so that's fine.
