Seems to be a known issue with AMD processors.
Guess I'm just happy to have a working stable system. The flickering will get sorted out.

So this Gnome 41 Device Security settings/options in settings are cool but I'm getting this error with kernel Linux 6.12.11-200.fc41.x86_64.
I have seen several posts saying this is a bug with this kernel but I want to make sure there is nothing I can do to remedy this now. #linux #fedora #fedora41 #gnome47 #Thinkpad_T14_Gen3

I am looking for #help trying to understand #Debian versioning, because I am considering to switch to it from #Fedora, but to be honest I want a bit of the new stuff, and I am too much of a nerd to stay stuck for two years with the same version of a desktop environment.
For example, my main concern is #GNOME. Right now, I am using #GNOME47 on #Fedora41, but if I were to switch to Debian, what would be the most recent GNOME version I could use with it?
As far as I understand, it seems to me that even on Debian Sid the latest GNOME version available is 44…
Finally made some progress on a small #gtk utility using #gjs
Still in very early stage development
Written in #TypeScript
uses #adwaita widgets.
"Beginner's guide to the GNOME desktop environment for Linux", AKA ":ms_paw_print: for newbies"
Inspired by a post from @mynameistillian, this is a blog covering the basics of using GNOME for someone fresh from Windows or Mac. How to navigate, how to access your applications, how to run startup & shutdown commands, how to use Activities and virtual desktops, etc.
If you're new to Ubuntu/Fedora or another Linux distribution, and you're not sure how to get started, this will (hopefully) help.
For long-term users: please let me know if there's anything you think I should add!
