This is well known as far back as 2021, I used to be a librarian at Goodreads, and the moderators there would put in so much effort in writing on how reviewers have the right to have opinions not based on facts, about a book that wasn't finished its editing at the point it was getting review bombing. It was targeted toward queer writers. I deleted my Goodreads account due to that.

Goodreads isn't really worthy of anything these days. Given one of the highest reviewed books there is also solidly the worst book I've read in a decade, as in I'm unconvinced it was written by an adult, think a ten year old who thinks repetitively screaming "gay" is peak comedy, and had this distinctive sense of the editor just gave up. Ultimately it's about how to lure people into buying via Amazon. I'm pretty sure most reviews are bots.

@kim_harding Please don’t believe that the Amazon owned ‘service’ Good Reads has anything to to with honesty our proper reviews. It is simply a medium for advertising - and maintained to prevent other possible review sites flourishing. Another reason to never buy from those #Bastards at #Amazon.

About 1k movies more to catch up to my read books number.

Should I focus on movies more instead of annually rewatching Supernatural, Vikings, and The Last Kingdom (among others) to make up for the number? 😆

Finally reading "Kairos" by Jenny Erpenbeck, half way into the story now, which up to here is set mainly in my home town Berlin in the 80s. #goodReads #fiction

📚💥 are over bad on for books no one's even touched yet. Apparently, are the new . 🔮 Maybe these budding prophets should review their own life choices instead. 😂
