@zopyx Feels like #GSOC participation is yet another way for artificially brushing up resumes. That might get you past HR screening, but it won't land you a job unless the contributions are real and significant. The #GSOC "aspirants" from India are flooding again the open-source communities with their AI-generated introductions.
I checked a bunch of "aspirant" postings from various communities with various AI checkers..most of then are full AI/ChatGPT generated..POV: if you are interested in #GSOC and a particular project, write a few line yourself. Everything else is unwanted bullshit and cheating...stay out and move on.

Another #GSOC student worked on integrating KTextEditor in #Cantor. This adds to #LabPlot essential features like auto-indent, code completion, and spell check while reducing maintenance and ensuring consistency across backend editors. :boost_love:

This year, as part of Google Summer of Code, one of the students improved #Python support by adding a feature that lets users easily switch between different virtual environments.
