I've been replaying Eviternity II recently, and I finally found that one secret level in the second episode I had missed entirely the first time around.
The music in it is all around incredible, but that track was a highlight. More than once I was just bobbing the viewport around just wanting to stop and air guitar.
I have uzdoom/gzdoom output the music to a Roland SC-88 on my desk piped back into my audio interface because I'm that kind of nerd, and so if you want to hear it the same way I did, here is a render.
The song is called Velocity, by Tristan Clark, who also co-authored the level (which is also an absolute banger of excess).

Sorry, I only just saw this since I don't log into Wafrn often, given as I'd prefer to be on Akkoma most of the time.
Godless Night is a Doom mapset by Tango! It uses his mod, Supercharge, as a base for its gameplay changes, and is generally kind of themed after Castlevania and Quake 1.
It's got a really cool gothic/medieval aesthetic that I love, especially when combined with the guns, some of which have been reskinned to also look more medieval.
I also really like the map design, since it doesn't have any mazes and the secrets are fun to hunt for. It's also really fair, with even higher difficulties being tough but still manageable for me, someone who isn't the best at Doom.

GZDoom developers recently split off to create UZDoom, and the first preview release is now out with some essential improvements: https://github.com/UZDoom/UZDoom/releases
This release is a direct followup to GZDoom 4.14.2, with UZDoom keeping the versioning, as it becomes UZDoom 4.14.3.
As the wiki changelog (https://zdoom.org/wiki/UZDoom_version_history/prerelease#4.14.3_(xx_11_2025)) notes, there were multiple security fixes. They also aimed to address historically contentious issues in the ZDoom community with a change to some defaults -- to make it closer to how Doom originally looked.
UZDoom is reaching RC stages, which is very exciting.
I kind of love how their first thing after forking off of GZDoom was to put in a bunch of long standing default and meta changes that kept being rejected.
Among these is that it finally honors the Freedesktop spec and XDG variables on Linux instead of continuing to pretend like "there's just no way to know" even when provided with the documentation.
