Galaxy Quest has a special features spot on dvd.

One feature is they did the entire length of the movie in Thermian speaking overlay. Went to a few favorite spots to see how they dubbed it, and those yielded some giggles.

Best part was when she was standing at the chompers, in the original movie they dubbed 'Screw that' to stay PG, though that's not what was originally filmed. In the Thermian special feature version, it actually said the original (when filmed) line, but in a Thermian-ish way.

They couldn't resist fun any step of the way, it really shows. Their devotion to playfulness is my idea of perfection.

Best. Movie. EVER.

I remember mostly enjoying #GalaxyQuest in the cinema, and later again a little more on DVD. It’s definitely aging like a fine wine, really giggle filled as an experience on bluray in 2025, maybe because of seeing so much convention footage on YouTube over the years.
