Truly delicious!

Two open-faced toasts sit invitingly on a bright lime-green plate, the vivid color of the dish making the toppings pop. Each slice of bread is rustic and well-toasted — you can see the crisp, golden-brown crust and a few charred spots where it caught the heat. Crumbs gather at the edges, suggesting a hearty, artisanal loaf beneath.

On top, thick rounds of ripe tomato are layered with puddles of melted white cheese that have blistered to pale gold at the edges. Scattered over the surface are torn green leaves and flecks of herbs — basil or a similar herb — that add a fresh, peppery contrast. Tiny dark specks and browned bits hint that the toasts were finished under a broiler or on a hot skillet, giving the cheese a lightly caramelized texture.

Made rotini with homemade , and pasta sauce. I love slopping a tablespoonful of into the mix as well.

Next up, the last of the Marie Callendars lattice accompanied by the last of a tub of Hagen Daszszzs pistachio .

Picked up a couple big today which will make a splendid dinner tomorrow or maybe Tues. Need more onion though since I’m addicted to my very own smother sauce.

I'm finally planting the #garlic. I planted half today and will plant the rest tomorrow. Had to fight the #ChickensOfMastodon off until I could finish the section and mulch it with soiled horse bedding, which they don't care about. 😅😆

I still haven't taken down my #ShadeCloth! 😆

I opened the front door this morning to go feed the #alpacas & #sheep & to water the plants.

A huge whiff of #onions or #garlic hit me.

I shrugged it off until midday when my better half came outside & asked what I’d been doing with garlic.

Hmmm. I might have to have a dig through our mound of #nasturtiums.

I planted their seeds in a large tub I’d failed growing garlic in last year.

Maybe the heat has revived them? Maybe?

No, not aroma from neighbours cooking.

Zum Ende des Jahres noch einen wahnsinnig nützlichen #Trick beim Kochen / Verwenden von #knoblauchzehen entdeckt.

War immer ziemlich frimilig die Haut der Knoblauchzehen zu entfernen. Vor allem, wenn die Zehen kleiner sind.

Der Trick ist nun die Zehen für 10-20 Sekunden in die Mikrowelle zu stellen. (Achtung die sind danach schon ziemlich heiß)
Nach der kurzen Strahlentherapie kann man die Haut suuuuper einfach entfernen.

Viel Spaß beim Ausprobieren.
