Met a friend of a friend in a café, also named Noam. A few minutes into the conversation he says, 'I'm gay by the way'.
My friend says, 'So is this Noam, we're not fazed.'
And I'm like, Oh Dorothy, I knew that the minute you walked in the door. I guess the old #gaydar still works.
So, not only am I not the only Noam in #Norwich, I'm not even the only #gay Noam in Norwich.
When you're at the end of the guided tour, chatting quietly with the ranger on the way back to the visitor center, and she not-so-casually drops mention of her partner and how she's also a ranger in the park and you successfully tamp down your impulse to shout "I KNEW IT!" or start chanting "One of us! One of us!"
So, I hadn't seen this until tonight, and I have to say it checks some boxes.
I mean, the eyeliner is a bit of a flag.

If you know about #GayDar, get ready for #ADHDar: While the former has a somewhat questionable hit ratio, I discovered the latter today when I was reading the #knowyourmeme description for the "alot", a fantasy creature, created by Allie Brosh based on the grammatical error to write "a lot" as one word. Her quote screamed "#neurodivergent" to me and when I looked her up on Wikipedia, the encyclopedia told me, she has, guess what, #ADHD and depression.
So Begriffe wie #gaydar find ich scheiße.
