How the goddamn hell are they still "defending" themselves against a terrorist attack they successfully fought off over a year ago!? they're shooting at hallucinations, but they're killing real people.

Is that why we only say the month and year when we talk about the reason for the forever wars? 11 September in every year from 2001 to 2021? I've been saying 2023 to distinguish it from 1944's October 7 uprising … but I think we need it to distinguish it from 2025.
