Over 200 registered charities sent $362 million to Israel in 2022. Dozens of them assist the military, government agencies, racist organizations and illegal West Bank colonies in violation of CRA rules. Detailed complaints have been submitted to the CRA concerning more than a dozen of these organizations.

Apparently they need charitable status in order to *checks notes*

pretend to be cops and attempt to intimidate people at the University of Toronto and at the Take Back the Night march.

What is Magen Herut?

In recent months Magen Herut, a heavily Zionist organization, has formalized "security and surveillance" teams made up of volunteers, who are allegedly are concerned with "rising anti-semitism."

These teams often consist of "volunteers" who are similar to what can be seen on police officers.

It is common for these "volunteers" to patrol around protest and the University of Toronto in order to intimidate those supporting Palestinian liberation.

Charitable status.. for a vigilante group??

Magen Herut is a registered charity in Canada and donations the group collects go towards security equipment and license for the team's volunteers.

As a registered charity, the organization is able to receive favorable income tax treatment.

Let the Canadian Revenue Agency know...

Taxpayers do not want to subsidize vigilante groups who support anti-Palestinian racism.

It's interesting to watch the mental gymnastics of the lifelong friendless trying to understand how people who don't view others in a transactional fashion interact with each other.

I get that you're completely baffled by anarchistic alliances, but even without that component, no one has to be giving others "orders".

In a 16-page decision released November 8 federal court judge Whyte Nowak rejected the JNF’s application for a judicial review and a request for an injunction to force the CRA to overturn its revocation of the JNF’s charitable status. After 57 years as a registered charity the CRA has given the JNF until November 13 to dispose of tens of millions in assets.
