This is very niche. It requires familiarity with the Hitchhiker's Guide text adventure game, and with the Inform 7 authoring language.
#genuary #genuary2025 #genuary3 Prompt: Exactly 42 lines of code.
I recommend just reading the code--you'll get the idea--but if you do try compiling in Inform 7 and encounter any bugs, please let me know!
okay, i drew 42 lines, exactly

It's fun to play around with short code and see what variety you can get out of a relatively simple system. I managed to keep the functions and format of the previous sketches, though this one isn't animated. I know a lot of #p5js sizecoding techniques, so I could have crammed a lot more in, but this seemed like a nice balance.

Prompt for Day 3: "Exactly 42 lines of code."
I'm totally cheating on this one, and just using the text of the prompt as the data used by my code to create the image. Yes, I've done this before. I enjoy it! :)

Prompt: Exactly 42 lines of code.
HTML doesn't count as it doesn't display anything. All code in main.py. Longest line is 149 characters, there are no semicolons in the file, but I do abuse assignment expressions somewhat. 😈
