In the Eurozone yesterday, German factory orders surged by 8.9%, surpassing expectations, while retail sales experienced a 1.1% month-on-month decline, falling short of forecasts. ECB member Isabel Schnabel cautioned that while low borrowing costs could stimulate the Eurozone's sluggish economy, it could also reignite inflation through increased spending. She emphasized the need for patience and caution until inflation reaches the 2% target.
