Margaret Atwood wrote in her dystopian novels about this too, and it didn’t go well there either. Hitler had similar ideas to ‘purify’ the aryan race and that wasn’t a success either. Even Ireland in its early days of being a Republic, controlled by the Catholic Church was all about similar: and that has been roundly rejected by the Irish people. That’s four examples of forced domesticity and breeding in my lifetime (except Hitler) and they are all failures. No one truly wants or can succeed in #Gilead
