Guess what? Because of the pricing increase (it doubled probably to accommodate the AI bs) I've decided to cancel my subscription. I've been a paying customer for quite some years now, but this doesn't make sense. I'll keep using the free version for now. #gitkraken

Just registered to #codeberg and created my first repo! I'll spend the next few days checking it on that repo (POC for BLE communication between Arduino and Android).
If it goes fine, I'll then consider migrating my github repos to codeberg too (next month).
Now I'll need to check how I can use #gitkraken free with it.

I'm aggressively moving away from #Microsoft, #Google and #Adobe wherever I can. #Ubuntu, #GIMP, #DigiKam #VSCodium and #GitKraken have me covered for most of my needs.
But universities love #MSOffice and I need compatible ways to edit Word/Excel/PPT. The 365 cloud versions just get worse and worse. #LibreOffice mostly works, but I've just tried out #OnlyOffice and compatibility seems better.
True #FOSS would be great, but I'd love views on OnlyOffice (for desktop editing, not cloud).

@mre I love #gitkraken. They have team features. I'd have to personally buy a team license for everyone on my team. My employer and client will not buy #gitkraken in a trillion years. Boltzmann monkey brains will spontaneously form and type shakespeare at random before an employer pays for tools for developers.
@tfb I use #Magit in #Emacs but teach people learning Git how to do things in #GitKraken (which I suck at using!).
