So, if we think about this like rational people, surely the best thing we could do is to adopt the simple proven remedy of wearing a mask whenever we are in an enclosed space with other members of the public.
Seems so obvious, so if we think of ourselves as rational people, why don’t we get off our collective arses and take some positive action?

Ugh, much as I want to support my grand in things like that, I'm super happy that I work evenings right now. Especially during a #GlobalPandemic, school concerts are stressful. Luckily, they're dance students and have performances in actual theatres for that. So much more civilized!

In March 2020, my wife and I were in #SoutheastAsia trying to get to a country that felt safe as #Coronavirus was spreading quickly. We landed in #bali planning to spend a week there. At the time, we just wanted to get off the Asian continent thinking it would be the hot spot.
The #Denpasar airport authorities queued up arriving passengers and handed them this yellow slip to put into our passports- that was it. When we left on March 14 to fly to Brisbane, they didn’t even take the slips back. Every country was just winging it at the time.
The #globalpandemic was announced the next day. We spent 6 weeks in Australia hoping it would calm down. When it became apparent this was here to stay, we found a window of time, and a cheap repatriation ticket on #VirginAustralia to get back home to the States.
What a time that was.
