When I photographed these three trees from close up last summer, they were very damaged by the drought and appeared to be dead.

I called the picture of them "Golgotha" because they looked like three sad crosses.

They seem to have recovered a little in the meantime - at least that's how it looks from a distance from my balcony on this foggy morning...

Das Leid Jesu trägt das Leid der Menschen in sich: #Schmerz, #Trauer, #Angst, #Verlust. Und doch: Erscheint der Anfang, "in einer fernen Zeit" zunächst wie ein Rückblick auf Vergangenes, spiegelt sich in ihm auch die Zukunft wider: „Erstehe neu in mir. Erstehe jeden Tag.“
