Previously, you could enable 2FA of a sort by having them e-mail you a link during log on.

Monolith Productions is no more. I will never forget the first time I played their game Blood. One of the favorite shooters, and clear evidence of how great game ideas can have a far greater outreach, no matter the technology.

This is like anti gaming for me. Generally speaking, the

"Hunt / Shoot / Garrotte fellow humans"

genre of #Gaming is just not my cup of tea. Fantastical enemies, weapons, setting, scenarios can hide much the kill other people loop. and there is always monsters, aliens, demons, and gods to slay. Injustices to right, Revenges to be wrought etc.

But go hunt and kill target human, no thanks.

But hey, I ain't e'rybody

Ya know what game I would really like to buy from #GoG? DRM free, no launcher required, etc. version of #MassEffect Legendary Edition. Even though I already own it on Steam/EA, I absolutely love those games and feel like it's one of those collections that "needs" to be preserved long term outside of EA's launcher or ecosystem. I'd pay full price all over again just to have a copy without any EA launcher requirement or other DRM.

GOG is having people vote for games they'd like to see GOG pursue for updating and preservation.

Two of my favorites are on the list: No One Lives Forever and N.O.L.F 2 A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way

The game is a camp 1960 British spy romp and the writing is Monolith at their best.
Cate Archer is who I wish I was.

Unfortunately it's stuck in legal limbo. Nobody is sure who owns the rights and nobody wants to take the time and money to figure it out.

I still have my CDs for the originals. They wouldn't install on my Windows 10 system but I found a hack online. It was in a tiny 640X480 window and unplayable.
