„To pilne!” – Google Phone pozwoli przebić się przez tryb „Nie przeszkadzać”

Ile razy zdarzyło Ci się dzwonić do kogoś w ważnej sprawie, tylko po to, by odbić się od poczty głosowej, bo ta osoba miała włączony tryb „Nie przeszkadzać”?

Google testuje rozwiązanie, które pozwoli oznaczyć połączenie jako pilne i ominąć blokadę. Ale spokojnie – wymaga to zgody obu stron.

Nowa funkcja, nazwana „Expressive Calling”, właśnie trafia do użytkowników wersji beta aplikacji Telefon Google (Google Phone). Jej głównym elementem jest możliwość nadania połączeniu statusu „Pilne” (Urgent).

Jak to działa?

Jeśli dzwonisz do kogoś i wiesz, że sprawa nie cierpi zwłoki, na ekranie wybierania numeru zobaczysz nową opcję: „Oznacz połączenie jako pilne” (Mark call as urgent).

Co widzi odbiorca?

Na jego ekranie pojawia się komunikat „To pilne!” (It’s urgent!) wraz z animowanym emoji syreny alarmowej.

Najważniejsze: jeśli w ustawieniach dany użytkownik, odbiorca pilnego połączenia, wyraził na to zgodę, takie połączenie zignoruje aktywny tryb „Nie przeszkadzać” i uruchomi dzwonek. W historii połączeń taka rozmowa zostanie trwale oznaczona etykietą „pilne”.

Haczyk? Na razie tylko dla wtajemniczonych

Funkcja jest obecnie we wczesnej fazie testów beta (wersja 203). Aby zadziałała, zarówno dzwoniący, jak i odbierający muszą korzystać z wersji beta aplikacji Telefon Google.

To jednak kwestia czasu, zanim rozwiązanie trafi do stabilnego kanału. Dla użytkowników Androida w Polsce to dobra wiadomość – aplikacja Google jest domyślnym dialerem w wielu popularnych smartfonach (Pixel, Motorola, Xiaomi, etc). To sensowna alternatywa dla systemowego „Emergency Bypass” w iOS, który działa zawsze dla danego kontaktu – tutaj decyzję o „pilności” podejmujemy przy każdym połączeniu indywidualnie.
