My motion to condemn the escalation of violence in the ME, call on #Australian government to denounce it, and to accept refugees from that conflict (that last part was addition from my comrades) was carried unanimously by the party branch.

Does it matter?

No political party can be 100% representative of what you want. The real question is where do they stand on the matters most important to you?
This is a roundabout way of saying:
Yes, the #Greens have faults and blind spots.
No, I don’t agree with every policy or every person.
But still, on the big question of changing the way we look at society to restore balance between humankind and the Earth as a whole, I am convinced that no other UK party is more committed to stand up for this issue.

It is rather refreshing (when you get to read her statement, mangle no doubt by the reporter) that Ellie Chow’s recognises that the Green Party in Scotland is independent from that in England, and indeed that Scotland is included in ‘Green parties around the world – in Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Scotland and Finland – have successfully grown their vote and won real power in government.’
Why are the world leaders so scared of Israel?
1. About 5% of voting block in "democracies" are owned by Israel. There are middle eastern religious extremists affecting our political landscape with undue influence. 5% is a landslide level shift. The only party in Australia with any integrity in this area is the #greens. Consequently the Israel lobby hates them with a passion (just check their local press).
2. "The Samson project"
Israel is reputed to have an undefined number of nukes hidden in Europe (and likely a couple of US cities).
If Israel is ever glassed or overrun, those nukes are going to go off.
Because if Israel does not have the right to exist, neither does anyone else.
Israel denies the existence of "The Samson project".
Israel also denies having nukes.
Either one of these is the reason why Western politicians are terrified of #Israel.
Then of course there is the prosaic "They are our guys in the ME".

Devulapalli was suspended for misconduct rather than for transhobia. But the Greens are now the only political party in England with MPs which treats transphobia as a vice rather than a virtue.
